Kenya Airways and TUI Airline Holidays launch KQ Holidays to enhance Kenya appeal
Kenya Airways has partnered with Europe-based TUI Airline Holidays, part of the global TUI Group, to relaunch KQ Holidays. The new platform delivers a seamless, end-to-end booking experience, combining Kenya Airways’ extensive global network with TUI’s proven expertise in curated vacation packages.
KQ Holidays is designed to position Kenya as a vibrant, year-round leisure destination through thoughtfully curated travel experiences. The platform emphasizes sustainable tourism, authentic local engagement, and personalized journeys tailored to travelers’ interests, while supporting local communities and boosting the regional economy.
The platform also allows travelers connecting through Nairobi to add a stopover in Kenya as part of a broader itinerary. Passengers transiting through the hub can easily include a short stay, explore the country’s diverse attractions, and continue to their final destination—all within a single, coordinated booking. This added flexibility transforms a simple connection into a richer travel experience.
Commenting on the partnership, Kenya Airways Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, Julius Thairu, said: “The launch of KQ Holidays marks an important milestone in our journey to expand customer choice and deliver greater value beyond the flight. By partnering with TUI Airline Holidays, we are combining world-class technology with our strong brand and network to offer curated vacation experiences that showcase the very best of Kenya and our Africa broader network, while supporting sustainable tourism growth.”
KQ Holidays will offer customized packages that include flights, premium hotel accommodations, transfers, and authentic local experiences. Powered by TUI Airline Holidays’ white-label solution, the platform enables real-time inventory management and personalized travel options, ensuring a smooth journey from inspiration to arrival. Customers can book services individually or bundle them into dynamic packages, providing flexibility for a wide range of travel preferences.
TUI’s Head of Specialist Businesses, Danyal Kaya, added: “We are excited to expand our expertise into the African market through this partnership with Kenya Airways. By leveraging our technology platform and travel knowledge, Kenya Airways can drive additional revenue, deliver distinctive experiences, and reach new customer segments.”
With KQ Holidays, travelers can now discover Kenya in a seamless, personalized, and meaningful way—while contributing to the growth of sustainable tourism and the local economy.
