Kenya reminds capital where Wills popped question

Sunday, 13 Apr, 2011 0

Kenya Tourist Board is capitalising on being the destination where Wills proposed to Kate by employing Masai tribesman in full traditional dress to hand out roses to London commuters.

The tourism agency says Kenyan roses picked from Flamingo Farm in Naivasha will be distributed at London Bridge, London Waterloo, Liverpool Street and Kings Cross between 7am and 10am on April 20.

Each rose will include a message encouraging people to “find love in Kenya” like the royal couple did. Prince William proposed in the Lewa Conservancy on the slopes of Mount Kenya.
