Kenya tightens airport security following bomb blast
Kenya has increased security at the country’s main airports after a terrorist bomb was detonated at a restaurant in Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The blast on January 16 caused minor damage and four men have been charged in Kenya with terrorism offences in relation to the incident.
Kenya Airways has advised customers departing from JKIA to allow four hours for check in, an hour more than usual, to allow for extra police checks.
