Sol Kerzner’s latest venture, The Cove Atlantis on Paradise Island opened its doors on March 28 in the Bahamas.

The Cove Atlantis is perched above two beaches and sits on a peninsula surrounded by landscaping, fresh water pools filled with lilies, colorful fish and waterfalls. This 600-room all-suite resort features designs by interior architects Jeffrey Beers and David Rockwell. All the suites within the resort, ranging from over 650-square-feet to over 4,000-square-feet, feature an understated contemporary décor of earth tones and light wood paneling to enhance the panoramic views of the ocean from each floor-to-ceiling window and terrace.

Each suite features two plasma-screen televisions, a BOSE 3-2-1 entertainment system, wireless internet and a custom in-room bar. The bathroom is decadent with marble floors, granite vanities, deep soaking tubs and glass-bricked rain showers.

Situated on Paradise Beach, Cain at The Cove is an adults-only pool where guests are indulged with bar service, beach concierge and plush daybeds. Private poolside and beachside cabanas are available for daily rent with flat screen TVs, wireless Internet, Bose 321 system, private bathrooms and custom-stocked service bars on request. Also exclusive to guests at The Cove is Cascades Pool, a zero-entry pool formed by a cascading waterfall with concierge service, which is open to guests of all ages.

The Cove Atlantis features two restaurants – Bobby Flay’s acclaimed Mesa Grill featuring vibrant Southwestern USA cuisine and Mosaic, a Mediterranean-influenced restaurant featuring action cooking stations to prepare dishes on demand, from fresh fish to churrasco. There is also The Cove Beach Club which is situated on the magnificent white sand Paradise Beach and offers drink and dining service, The Cove Pool Café and Cascades Grill.

Guests at The Cove Atlantis will enjoy access to the many activities available at Atlantis including the 63-acre Aquaventure water experience, Dolphin Cay – the resort’s new dolphin habitat, the new 30,000 square foot Mandara Spa and over 35 restaurants including an outpost of legendary Nobu Matsuhisa’s Nobu and the French gourmet restaurant Café Martinique from acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

BA Holidays offers seven nights at The Cove Atlantis from £1,380 per person based on two adults sharing an Ocean Suite including private transfers and flights. Based on departures 01 September to 31 October 2007. For reservations call 0870 243 3406 or visit http://www.baholidays.com/
