KLM has become the latest carrier to increase its fuel surcharges in response to high oil prices.
The Dutch carrier is adding 5 euros to long haul flights and 1 euro to European services from tomorrow (August 10).
The airline blamed “soaring fuel prices”, adding that the surcharge will be withdrawn as soon as the barrell price drops below $70 for more than 30 consecutive days.
