Korean GP ready to roar
Formula One fanatics are being urged to head for the Korean F1 Grand Prix to be held from October 12-14 at the Korea International Circuit in Yeongam in the southwest corner of the country.
Access to the international circuit at Yeongam is via the high-speed train (KTX) from Seoul Yongsan Station to nearby Mokpo, where there is ample accommodation.
There is a free daily shuttle service to the race circuit.
There are more than 5,000 hotel rooms in Mokpo and the surrounding area of Yeongam and accommodation can be reserved via the Korean GP website.
For K-Pop fans there will also be a large concert event over the race weekend.
In the surrounding Jeollanamdo region there are options for touring and dining. Jeollanamdo is known for its excellent Korean cuisine.
