Korean National Tourist Office launches photo competitions

Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) CEO, Kim Jong Min today launched three separate contests in the 34th Korea Tourism Photo Contest 2006, the 16th Korea Tourism Poster Contest 2006 and the 1st 2006 Korea Tourism Flash Animation Contest, with almost A$72,000 of cash prizes to be won.

The Korea Tourism Photo Contest is designed to promote Korea’s special tourist attractions world-wide, with recent photos taken in Korea after January, 2005 reflecting the theme of the Korean tourism welcome.

Each entrant may submit up to 30 photographs and entries must be submitted between 4 and13 July, 2006.

Prizewinners will be announced on the KTO’s website www.etourkorea.com in early August, 2006 and winners will be notified individually.

The Award Ceremony and Exhibition for the winning entries is planned for 31 August, 2006 at Korea Travel Expo located at COEX Building, Samseong-dong, Seoul.
