Kuoni improves web-based services through Comtec

Friday, 26 Jun, 2007 0

Kuoni has enhanced the web-based services offered to travel agents via Comtec’s EasySell travel distribution platform.

The new connectivity will enable the operator to automatically generate holiday availability directly into Comtec systems and will also provide a ‘deep-link’ into its travel agent website in order to complete bookings for holidays located via the EasySell holiday search facility.

Kuoni UK ebusiness director Matt Rooke said: “Our development with Comtec is another example of our commitment to working with UK travel agents. We’re investing in our customers’ preferred distribution channels and we believe EasySell users will welcome the productivity benefits arising from the enhanced services we’ve introduced with Comtec.”

Comtec indicated that more operators are using web-based links.

Head of sales Vicki Tittley said: “With more and more operators looking for web-based solutions in preference to viewdata, Comtec now supports a vast range of connectivity options. We’re delighted to be able to deliver Kuoni a tailored distribution service that supports its business objectives”.
