Kuoni removes its 5% online discount
Kuoni is to remove its 5% website discount allowing agents to sell on a level playing field.
The change will be implemented in a phased approach from late October and will mean there will no longer be a difference between what the operator charges and what independent agents can charge.
Kuoni will still be offering tactical discounts on selected products and selected departure dates but all of these offers will be ‘on system’ and will be available through all channels.
“With the removal of our 5% online discount, our commitment to the trade is stronger than ever,” said Kuoni national sales manager, Amanda Darrington.
“We greatly value the continuing support from the trade and trust that this announcement will help our specialist agents to deliver significant growth to their Kuoni business over the coming years.”
From late October, Kuoni’s ‘Lates Calendar’ will show best prices by departure date as well as when availability is limited.
In addition Kuoni is improving its specialist agents programme which now includes dedicated brochure display design.
