Kuoni UK denies Burma return
The company said in a statement: “Kuoni UK has already taken the decision not to offer holidays to Burma in 2004 or 2005, and the destination is not going to be featured in its 2004-05 brochures which are the first to be published within the Kuoni Group.
“The Kuoni Group is based in Switzerland. Other sister European members are currently evaluating many destinations, one of which is Burma, with a view to possible inclusion in their 2004-05 programmes.
“However, absolutely no decision has been taken on this yet.”
