Latest luxury ship prepares for naming

The Yachts of Seabourn’s new vessel Seabourn Sojourn has been on sea trails prior to its naming in London in June.
The 450-passenger sister ship to Seabourn Odyssey completed four days of trials in the Mediterranean.
The ship will be delivered by its Italian ship yard to the company on May 28 after finishng touches have been completed.
Following two days of inaugural festivities in London on June 4-5, Seabourn Sojourn will depart on June 6 on a 14-day maiden voyage, visiting Scotland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, the Norwegian Fjords, and Amsterdam.
The maiden season of cruises will also include 12 to 14-day voyages in Northern Europe, including Norway, Scotland, the Baltic Sea and Russia.
The vessel will sail on a transatlantic cruise from Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale at the end of the summer, where it will operate a series of Caribbean voyages.
The ship, the second in a series of three vessels, will sail on a world cruise from Los Angeles to London on January 5, 2011 via the South Pacific, New Zealand, around Western Australia, Indonesia and Southeast Asia, India, Arabia and the Mediterranean.
The third ship in the series, Seabourn Quest, is due for enter service next year.
*Seabourn is offering two-for-one cruise fares for voyages in Europe departing between June and November. Nine to 12-days on Seabourn Sojourn in Northern Europe start at £2,999.
