Le Méridien opens new Phuket resort
Marriott Bonvoy’s Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts has celebrated the opening of a new Phuket resort.
Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort is situated at Mai Khao Beach and surrounded by the Sirinat National Park.
The resort provides a serene tropical hideaway for relaxing stays.
Following a refurbishment and rebranding, the Phuket resort features 244 rooms and suites overlooking the gardens, pool or sea.
There are also family rooms with bunk beds available, as well as brand-new pool access rooms, private cabana rooms, two-bedroom suites and private pool suites.
The resort features an outdoor lagoon pool, a children’s fun pool, a kids’ club and a wealth of outdoor activities.
Guests also have direct access to Mai Khao Beach for beachfront yoga and water sports like paddle-boarding and kayaking.
Dining options include locally-inspired snacks at The Nook, and a signature Mediterranean restaurant.
Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort also offers a range of event spaces including a ballroom, which can be transformed into three smaller meeting spaces.
“We are delighted to start welcoming guests. This sophisticated Phuket resort is set to become a popular choice for domestic and international travellers,” said Jakob Helgen, Area VP, Marriott International.
