Lodging owners might consider going to the dogs
A large majority of cat and dog owners bring their animals on vacation and stay in pet-friendly lodgings and hotels, according to the latest findings of BringYourPet.com.
A total of 83% of owners say they stay at pet-friendly places, while 73% of those in the study bring their pets with them when traveling.
Another 63% would be likely to lengthen their stays if given the chance to travel with pets.
Of those surveyed, 85% traveled with dogs while only 6% traveled with cats.
Almost 40% said it was difficult to find pet-friendly lodging.
