Loganair boosts London flights from Teesside
Loganair is beefing up connectivity between London and the North East as it strengthens its relationship with Teesside International Airport.
The service to London Heathrow, which started in March this year, will now see three flights per day Monday to Friday, providing greater flexibility for business travellers with additional international connections made available through new flight times.
The incrreased schedule starts from 12 July, departing from Teesside for the 1 hour, 15 minute flight.
Weekend services consist of one morning flight on Saturdays and two on Sundays.
The service offers a rrange of international connections via Loganair interline agreements with British Airways, KLM, Air France, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, United Airlines and Qatar Airways amongst others.
Lead-in prices are from £69.99 one way including all taxes, and the additional flight is available to book now.
The inceased frequency is the latest step in the partnership between Loganair and Teesside International announced in November last year, which saw the airline return to Teesside under its new ownership after an absence of two and a half years.
Since then, the airline has also started flights from Teesside to Aberdeen and Belfast City, with Dublin, Jersey and Newquay flights set to begin in summer 2021.
Loganair’s Chief Commercial Officer Kay Ryan said: "We are extremely pleased to be able to increase operations at Teesside International as we build on our partnership with the airport, offering customers from Tees Valley more flexibility as travel restrictions ease."
