The Institute of Travel and Meetings has elected Nicola Lomas as its chair-elect.
Lomas is director of corporate travel services for the Omnicom Group and will take up the position immediately, moving to chairman in January 2012.
Current ITM chairman Jamie Hindhaugh will then move on to concentrate on the BBC’s production of the Olympics.
Lomas has worked in supplier roles for American Express and American Airlines prior to joining Omnicom.
