Look out for early season ski offers

The ski season doesn’t get into full swing until Christmas, but with some resorts open as early as November, it’s worth looking out for special offers for clients who want to get in some early skiing.

One such offer is from Kaluma Travel, which has knocked £500pp off a pre-Christmas week at the Hotel das Mooser in St Anton.

The ski in-ski out hotel is celebrating the re-launch of its restaurant Vinzenz. It also boasts a spa area and heated outdoor infinity pool. Prices for arrivals on December 16 start from £850 for seven nights bed and breakfast and one evening meal. Flights are not included.

Included amongst Inghams special offers is a two-for-one lift pass in Whistler for departures between December 8 and 15, and again for departures from January 9 to February 9.

Ski Total is offering an early season trip to the French resort of Avoriaz, one of the highest resorts in the Alps, departing on December 16. It costs £459pp, down from £639, for seven nights chalet accommodation, including flights from Southampton and transfers.

With all early season special offers, it’s a good idea to check before booking whether the resort will be fully operational and what percentage of runs will be open as even if there is plenty of snow, not all resorts are geared up to opening all lifts and runs before Christmas.
