Lowcosttravelgroup marketing director joins agency
Former lowcosttravelgroup marketing director Helene Hall has joined the senior team of content marketing digital agency, Melt.
Hall has been appointed chief commercial officer of the agency, which has ambitious growth and revenue targets for 2016 and beyond.
At lowcosttravelgroup, Hall led global marketing teams in nine key European markets and the US, focusing on the UK and Ireland.
Previously she held director level roles at digital agency Gravytrain, where she was responsible for search and more recently for digital marketing. Before that she was global head of SEO at Holiday Autos.
In her new role at Melt, she will head up the marketing, search, outreach and business development teams.
Melt founder Dan Hart said: "Helene isn’t just a hugely experienced and capable travel marketer, she’s also a passionate advocate for content who has real industry recognition.
"Bringing her on board really strengthens our team at what is a very exciting stage for the business. We’ve enjoyed a highly successful last 12 months and have won business from hugely credible brands such as Expedia, hotels.com, thetrainline and most recently News UK.
"Helene’s appointment will not only enable us to develop our existing customers, but will also help drive the Melt brand in the travel vertical and beyond. She will also be instrumental in our international plans."
Melt has recently expanded its team to also include campaign executive Chris Lomas, senior project manager Nick Yates and business development manager Duncan Mitchinson.
