Lufthansa cabin crew announce three more strike days
Lufthansa’s cabin crew have announced three more strike days to take place later this week.
Members of the Independent Flight Attendant’s Organization (UFO) have said they will strike on Thursday November 26, Friday November 27 and Monday November 30, 2015.
The airline said it was trying to keep the effect of the strike on its customers as low as possible.
It said: "At the moment no concrete strike actions are announced, hence the effect of these strike actions on flight operations cannot be estimated at this point in time.
"As soon as these effects are known, Lufthansa will set up a goodwill policy for all booked passengers. Passengers booked on a flight which has to be cancelled due to strike actions, always have the opportunity to rebook once or cancel their flight free of charge."
Flight attendants and pilots are fighting plans to overhaul Lufthansa and transform Eurowings into a low-cost arm.
The airline suffered a week-long strike at the beginning of November, which is said led to around 4,700 flights being cancelled and 550,000 passengers affected.
