Lufthansa strikes on hold
Lufthansa strikes have been put on hold while the airline is in talks with the union.
The nationwide cabin crew strike by the Independent Flight Attendants Organization (UFO) which began on Friday, 7 September has now ended.
The airline and UFO have signed a preliminary agreement over mediation and no further strikes will take place until an arbiter’s ruling.
The German carrier said on its website: "Lufthansa sincerely regrets that the labour dispute is being waged at the expense of its customers."
