SeaDream Yacht Club is to enter Northern Europe for the first time in summer 2011.

The luxury line is to run cruises in Scandinavia, the Baltic and the Atlantic Coast of France, Spain and Portugal.

Ports of call are planned in the UK, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Russia, Germany, France, Holland, Spain and Portugal.

The company has previously limited summer European sailings to the Mediterranean, including Greek Islands and the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia.

Following an inaugural visit to London on May 8, 2011, the 122-passenger SeaDream I will sail for Bremerhaven for routine maintenance and dry-dock prior to sailing the new routes.

Company president Bob Lepisto said: “These new itineraries embrace the very essence of the SeaDream experience and will delight our clientele.”

“We expect to have complete 2011 schedules and itineraries visible and on sale via our website by the weekend of November 20.”

Among new ports of call for the Northern Europe itineraries are: Stockholm and Marstand, Sweden; Helsinki, Finland; Oslo, Stavanger, Lillesand and Bergen Norway; Tallin and Kuressaare, Estonia; St. Petersburg, Russia; Hamburg, Germany; Amsterdam, Holland; Honfleur, St. Malo, Belle Ile, La Rochelle and Bordeaux, France; St. Jean de Luz, Gigoni/Oviedo, Spain; Cascais, Portugal and the City of London.

SeaDream I will also sail in Norway’s Hardangefjord, and the Sognefjord.

Company founder, owner and CEO Atle Brynestad said: “It’s long been a dream of mine to have our yachts sail in Scandinavian waters, especially in the magnificent Norwegian fjords which I love. While I know our guests will love all of these new voyages, I believe they will especially love my Norwegian fjords.”
