Luxury specialist Carrier to roll-out Dolphin technology

London, 5th August 2013. In a move to "streamline sales activity and optimise operational processes", luxury tailor-made specialist Carrier has reached agreement to roll-out the Dolphin tour operator sales and management solution.

The Cheshire based tour operator has started the implementation, training and contract loading activity in order to go live on the system in August 2013. Comprising an integrated point of sale, CRM module, contract management and back-office solution, Dolphin will enable staff to search and sell flights from Galileo and web-based airlines, alongside directly negotiated accommodation, transfer and other directly negotiated supplier products.

The new business-wide technology solution will also provide operational staff and the Carrier management team with a suite of business reports, allocation management tools and a travel accounting module fully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics.

Carrier will implement new streamlined workflow processes supported by the Dolphin Inbox; an innovative tool which generates automatic staff reminders to drive enquiries, quotes and bookings through their entire lifecycle, thereby ensuring customers are offered the best possible service.

Steve Kimber, Managing Director at Carrier said, "The system will be operational for all 2014 departures and will dramatically speed up turnaround times on quotations, enabling Carrier consultants to prepare personalised and visually compelling quotations for both simple and complex itineraries much more efficiently than previously. The new system will enable our team to spend more time providing personal advice and expertise for our customers and travel agent partners. We look forward to delivering even better service and continued growth at Carrier on the back of this strategic technology move.

Roberto Da Re, CEO at Dolphin Dynamics added, "We are very pleased Carrier has selected Dolphin Dynamics as its sales and management technology partner. The inherent flexibility of Dolphin makes it particularly well-suited to tailor-made travel companies wishing to provide the best possible levels of customer service whilst reaping considerable operational benefits through Dolphin’s advanced automation tools".
