On Thursday April 5th Channel 9’s popular travel show Getaway will feature the fabulous and iconic Greek Island of the glitterati, Hydra.    

The segment on Hydra, an island frequented by the glitterati of Greece and Hollywood is hosted by Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre and is the third of the current set of Geteway segments on Greece with GMTC has supported on Channel 9’s popular lifestyle program.

Hydra is one of the most visually spectacular of the Aegean Islands, one of the Saronic group of islands  just two hours by fast ferry from Athens with its picturesque harbour a popular meeting place for the rich, famous and powerful from all over the world.  

Hydra is car free and the pace is unhurried with travellers enjoying the relaxed ambience of Hydra’s bars, cafes and wonderful shopping in conjunction with a spot of celebrity spotting.
