Malaysia Airlines expands Qatar Air codeshare
Malaysia Airlines is expanding its codeshare agreement with Oneworld partner Qatar Airways to boost its European footprint.
Starting January 27, Malaysia Airlines will add its MH code to 12 Qatar-operated services to Europe from Doha.
These include Vienna, Brussels, Copenhagen and Frankfurt.
Qatar Air will in turn offer its customers MH-operated flights from Kuala Lumpur to four more cities in Malaysia and Indonesia.
"Since 2001, both airlines have witnessed the significant benefits codeshare cooperation have brought, providing passengers with seamless connections," said Qatar Air group CEO, Akbar Al Baker.
"The expansion of codeshare cooperation between Qatar Airways and Malaysia Airlines is a natural next step."
Malaysia Airlines also codeshares with British Airways, Emirates, Etihad and KLM on European routes.
