A new year of possibilities takes flight with Malaysia Airlines’ global “Time for New Chapters” campaign

Thursday, 08 Jan, 2026 0

Malaysia Airlines invites travelers to embrace Time for New Chapters, a campaign inspired by new beginnings and the journeys that follow. As 2026 begins, the airline encourages travelers to plan meaningful journeys across the year – from leisure holidays and family visits to milestone moments and business travel.

Available for booking from 7 to 20 January 2026, for travel up to 30 November 2026*, the campaign enables travelers to plan and secure their 2026 adventures early with exclusive all-in return fares starting from GBP 569 from London; €609 from Paris and A$609 from Australia for Economy Class.

Time for New Chapters opens up a world of travel possibilities across Malaysia Airlines’ growing network, inviting travelers to discover both new destinations and familiar favorites. Passengers departing London Heathrow or Paris Charles de Gaulle can connect seamlessly to global cities including Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur; Bangkok, Thailand; Indonesia’s Bali; and Sydney, Australia as well as regional destinations such as Cebu, Siem Reap, and Krabi** via sister airline Firefly from Malaysia’s KLIA Terminal 1.

The campaign is further enriched with Malaysia Airlines’ Bonus Side Trip (BST) program, which transforms stopovers into opportunities to discover one of eight Malaysian destinations, including Penang, Langkawi, Kuantan and Kuching – with only the applicable taxes payable, positioning Kuala Lumpur as a welcoming gateway to journeys across Asia and beyond as part of Visit Malaysia 2026.

New menus to discover Asian flavors

Beyond connectivity, Malaysia Airlines offers an onboard experience designed to make every journey comfortable, enjoyable, and distinctly Malaysian. Guests flying on Malaysia Airlines’ next-generation A330neo aircraft on selected services from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo, Bali, Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland can look forward to an enhanced onboard experience designed around comfort and thoughtful details.

The A330neo aircraft features ergonomically designed seats and large, high-definition in-flight entertainment screens, delivering a more comfortable and seamless journey and supporting the airline’s continued fleet modernization efforts.

Selected aircraft also feature in-flight entertainment via MHstudio and complimentary Wi-Fi across all cabin classes via MHconnect, allowing travelers to stay entertained and connected throughout the journey.

The experience is further elevated with the airline’s 2026 ‘Best of Malaysia’ and ‘Best of Asia’ in-flight menus, bringing the region’s flavors and stories to the skies. From 1 January onwards, ‘Best of Malaysia’ celebrates local heritage with a rotating selection of state-inspired dishes, beginning with Selangor favorites such as Daging Semur and Ayam Semur, served with fragrant Nasi Minyak on selected flights from Sabah and Sarawak to Kuala Lumpur.

As part of the airline’s year-round ‘Best of Asia’ menu, South Korean-inspired dishes will be featured from January to February, followed by Thai-inspired selections from March to April. Highlights include Spicy Gogi Jorim, Dak Bokkeum Tang, Pad Phet Chicken, and Massaman Curry. These menus will be available across selected regional routes, including selected flights from Kuala Lumpur to Sabah, Sarawak, and Seoul (ICN), and will be offered in Business Suite, Business Class, and Economy Class – adding depth and variety to the in-flight dining experience.

Travelers can celebrate the start of 2026 with Malaysia Airlines by planning holidays and journeys that bring adventure, relaxation, and discovery to the year ahead.
