Malaysia Airlines inks Travelport partnership
Malaysia Airlines has sealed a multi-year content agreement with Travelport.
The airline will utilise Travelport Digital Media Solutions giving 68,000 travel agencies real-time access to MAB’s content and inventory.
More than 300 airlines use Travelport’s rich content and branding.
"At MAB, customer experience is our centre of gravity, and technology is a big part of the service offering. We value the partnership with Travelport," said the airline’s chief marketing and customer experience officer, Lau Yin May.
Malaysia Airlines has been busy recently inking codeshare agreements with Qatar, Turkish Airlines, and Singapore Airlines to offer enhanced connectivity and travel options for customers.
It also got the green light from the Malaysian Aviation Commission to launch a joint venture business with Japan Airlines later this year.
