Malaysia Airlines has introduced a new intermodal booking product called MHrail.

It provides convenient rail connections via a single booking.

The airline also announced the expansion of its partnership with AccesRail, which offers air-rail solutions.

It allows customers to book onward train connections, providing expanded travel options from Seoul and London when flying with the airline.

Malaysia Airlines customers can now book Korail KTX train tickets for routes to and from Incheon International Airport.

Additionally, customers can book train tickets between London Heathrow and destinations along the East Coast via the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) and the West Coast with Avanti West Coast.

This expansion complements the existing rail route offered through this partnership on Great Western Railway.

Tickets are available for purchase on Malaysia Airlines’ official website and all GDS travel agencies.

Bookings are made possible through AccesRail’s “9B” carrier code.

Dersenish Aresandiran, CCO of Airlines at MAG, said: With MHrail, we make it easy to enjoy onward connections upon arrival in London or Seoul.”

In operation for 25 years, Montreal-headquartered AccesRail is present on all global GDS systems.

It has partnerships with major rail companies in Europe, North America and Asia.
