Man arrested at Heathrow charged with terrorism offences
A suspected terrorist who was arrested at Heathrow Airport in January has been charged.
Tadesse Kersmo, from north London, was detained under the Terrorism Act.
Scotland Yard confirmed the 51-year-old has since been charged with eight counts of possessing ‘articles containing information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism’.
He was also charged with attending a place used for the training of terrorists. He was due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
