Man stabbed in Stansted airport
A man is still in a serious condition after reportedly being stabbed in the passenger terminal at Stansted airport.
According to the Sky News website, the un-named man’s throat and head were cut in the incident, which reportedly took place in front of a number of passengers at the Essex airport.
A police spokesman is quoted as saying that the injured man is in Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, while his attacker is also hospitalised, in Addenbrooke’s, Cambridge, with lesser injuries.
The spokesman reportedly said: “An investigation has been launched and a crime scene set up. A section of the terminal building was sealed off. We have some witnesses; the terminal building is a busy area and this happened in front of a number of passengers.”
