Mantra brands build presence in Bali
The Mantra Group will open its second property in Bali – the BreakFree Sing Ken Ken in Legian – marking the debut of the BreakFree brand in Asia.
Mantra Nusa Dua was launched in March this year.
Formerly known as the Sing Ken Ken Boutique Hotel, the 80 room and suites property, which opened in late 2012, will officially rebrand to BreakFree Sing Ken Ken in October.
"Mantra Group is focused on growing our presence in Bali across all three of our brands (Mantra, BreakFree and Peppers)," said Mantra Group CEO, Bob East.
The 3.5 star hotel is located on the beachfront at Legian and within walking distance to Seminyak and Kuta beaches.
There is conference space for meetings of up to 150 delegates theatre style and cocktail-style functions for up to 250 people.
BreakFree currently has a network of 24 family-friendly hotels and resorts, including resort properties on the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Cairns and Coffs Harbour, and CBD properties in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
"We have concentrated on getting the product right for the BreakFree brand over the last few years which has meant divesting hotels that weren’t within our brand standards.
"As a result, we have a solid network of good quality hotels in Australia and the BreakFree brand is ready to be taken to a market like Bali," said East.
