Marrekech to host ABTA’s Travel Convention next year
ABTA is planning to stage its 2021 Travel Convention in Marrakech, which was due to host this year’s event before it was switched online due to Covid-19.
Speaking at the virtual event today, Adel el Fakir, CEO of the Moroccan National Tourist Office, said the destination was waiting to welcome delegates.
He said Covid rates in Morocco were lower than in many countries, including the UK, adding that it has put in place ‘robust’ safety measures.
The conference will take place at Palmeraie Resorts, which is on the outskirts of Marrakesh, where the conference was last hosted in 2005.
