Marriott named favorite for second year
Marriott Hotels & Resorts has come out on top for the second year in a row on TripAdvisor’s annual survey of business travelers.
More than 1,500 responded to the survey, which also named Courtyard by Marriott one of the top five hotel chains for business travel.
“The survey indicated that the most important feature in hotels to the business traveler are the location/proximity to meetings (30%), high-speed internet access (26%) and onsite dining and room service (19%),” says Marriott.
Deluxe bedding and high-end bath products were the most important luxuries.
“Frequent guest programs, such as Marriott Rewards, remain a top motivator for travelers when choosing hotels, with 78% as members of one program or more,” the report found.
