Rendezvous Auckland Fixes 2008 Conference Rates for the Australian Market

Rendezvous Hotel Auckland has announced a fixed Australian dollar rate for its MICE accommodation and day delegate packages in a significant commitment to its support for the Australian market.

The ‘No Surprises’ Package will allow organisers to plan well in advance, with accurate budgeting for events and travel and the ability to accurately compare Auckland against other Australian and international destinations.

Following a $35 million extension to the hotel in 1998, the 455 room luxury hotel is NZ’s largest and arguably best-located business hotel.

The property is perfect for business travellers and the MICE market with large rooms in multiple categories including a choice of 15 different meeting and event spaces.

Flexible pre- and post function spaces can be creatively used in conjunction with the conference spaces. An experienced events team is on hand to assist with planning and organising every detail for a successful event or meeting.

To complete the experience, the hotel offers a gymnasium complex, providing total relaxation at any time of the day, with a heated indoor lap pool and saunas.

The award-winning Katsura Japanese restaurant is acclaimed by both guests and locals and a Japanese-styled roof garden adds a serene aspect to the mezzanine level.

Located within walking distance of some of Auckland’s premier restaurants and shops, and internationally recognisable landmarks such as Auckland’s exciting America’s Cup Village, the hotel is considered by many to be a reflection of the ultimate Kiwi experience.

Fixing business rates in Australian dollars is another key initiative in Rendezvous Hotel Auckland’s commitment to and support for the Australian MICE market.
