Melissa Dasilva named interim CEO of TTC Tour Brands
The Travel Corporation (TTC) has announced Melissa DaSilva as Interim CEO of TTC Tour Brands, effective immediately.
DaSilva, who most recently served as President of TTC Tour Brands North America, succeeds Gavin Tollman who will exit the business when the company sale closes later this year.
DaSilva brings over three decades of travel industry expertise to the role.
In this interim position, DaSilva will oversee TTC Tour Brands’ portfolio of six brands, which includes the Trafalgar escorted tour operator; guided vacation company, Insight Vacations; and youth travel specialist, Contiki.
DaSilva succeeds outgoing TTC Tour Brands CEO Gavin Tollman, who has been at the helm of TTC Tour Brands since its inception and will continue to support DaSilva during the transition.
“Melissa has consistently demonstrated her leadership throughout her tenure as President of North America,” Tollman said.
“Her deep understanding of TTC Tour Brands’ diverse portfolio and her strategic vision make her the ideal choice.”
DaSilva will also support the search process for her successor as President of North America.
