Miami cruise shipping conference registration opens

The initial conference programme for the annual Cruise Shipping Miami conference has been released.
Bosses of major cruise lines have been confirmed as speakers at the 26th annual event which will be staged on March 15-18 at the Miami Beach Convention Centre.
Discussing the state of the cruise industry against the background of an improving economic environment will be Gerry Cahill, Carnival Cruise Lines; Adam Goldstein, Royal Caribbean International; Dan Hanrahan, Celebrity Cruises and Kevin Sheehan, NCL.
A session on the outlook for the luxury sector of the cruise market in light of the spending pattern of high-end consumers includes Pam Conover, Seabourn Cruise Line; Roberto Giorgi, V. Ships Leisure; Amerigo Perasso, Silversea Cruises; Larry Pimentel, Azamara Club Cruises and Peter Shanks, Cunard Line.
Other subjects up for debate include distribution and the role of social media networks in marketing cruises.
