Minor Hotels signs first two M Collection properties in China
Thailand based Minor Hotels has sealed two new management contracts to mark the debut of its M Collection brand in China.
M Collection Hengqin Zhuhai will be the first to open in 2020, and will feature 100 keys comprising suites and pool villas.
The hotel is located just minutes from the gaming Mecca of Macau and a further 40 minutes to Hong Kong via the new bridge.
Minor has partnered with Zhuhai Da Heng Qin Company Limited to develop the property.
The second M Collection location is in Hangzhou Yuhang, Zhejiang Province.
The all-suite and villa resort is slated to open in 2022.
Featuring 54 keys, it forms part of the 433-hectare Lvjingtang Eco-Park which is about 55 kilometres from Hangzhou city centre.
Minor currently has three Anantara brand properties open in China, along with a strong development pipeline.
Minor has a portfolio of 162 hotels and resorts in 25 countries across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, South America, Africa and the Indian Ocean.
