Missing passenger’s family suing Carnival
The Carnival Corporation is being sued by the family of a Wisconsin woman who disappeared from a cruise trip she won in a contest.
The suit maintains the surveillance camera where Annette Mizener’s purse was found was covered. The 37-year-old Waukesha, Wis., woman apparently fell or jumped overboard.
The ship’s crew did not stop for an immediate search because the scene was not captured on camera, according to the suit.
The woman’s body was never found.
The suit seeks $15,000 in damages.
