Mondrian checking in to the Maldives
Ennismore is bringing the iconic Mondrian lifestyle brand to the Maldives.
Mondrian Maldives is set to open on Kuredhivaru Island in 2026.
Located just a 45-minute seaplane flight from Male International Airport, the resort is on one of only a handful of islands within the Noonu Atoll.
Before transitioning into Mondrian, the property will operate as Kuredhivaru Resort & Spa under Ennismore’s management.
Previously flying the Movenpick flag, Kuredhivaru Resort & Spa will continue to be bookable on ALL.com and remain part of ALL, Accor’s loyalty and booking platform.
The Mondrian Maldives resort will have 105 villas, which include 30 beach pool villas in lush greenery, 72 overwater pool villas and three-bedroom beach pool residences.
Every villa features a private pool.
The Maldives resort will provide programming and experiences rooted in the Maldives’ culture.
The resort houses a spa, gym, diving centre, yoga pavilion, tennis and volleyball courts, and swimming pools.
Additionally, there will be a kid’s club and four restaurant and bar venues.
Phil Zrihen, Brand COO for Mondrian Hotels at Ennismore, said: “Mondrian Maldives will create the perfect sanctuary for our guests. In bringing Mondrian’s oversized imagination to the Maldives, we hope to raise the bar as a cultural and culinary destination.”
Mondrian has ten properties in cultural hubs in Singapore, LA, Miami, Doha, Mexico City, Cannes, Bordeaux, Seoul, Hong Kong and Ibiza.
The brand is opening new properties in key destinations including Abu Dhabi, Tulum, Dubai and Australia’s Gold Coast.
