More FUN for Air Pacific!
Thursday, 21st August marked Air Pacific’s official launch and the commencement of its second weekly flight to Funafuti (FUN), Tuvalu with same aircraft services via Suva now available from Nadi.
The new Nadi / Suva to Funafuti flight operates on Thursdays to complement the existing Tuesday service. The flights are operated by Pacific Sun’s ATR42-500 aircraft.
Air Pacific has also appointed Mr Jona Sevura as Manager Government and Industry Affairs. He was previously the Manager Regulatory Affairs for Air Pacific and prior to that was employed by the Government of Fiji, spending over 10 years with the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation.
The Managing Director & CEO of Air Pacific, John Campbell, said “We are delighted to appoint Jona to his new role to ensure that Air Pacific is well positioned to provide sound input, opinion and information to Government on regulatory and policy matters affecting aviation in general and the Air Pacific Group in particular. Mr Sevura is well qualified and has demonstrated skill and commitment in his previous role as Manager Regulatory Affairsâ€.
