MSC launches its largest ship
NAPLES – Actress Sophia Loren has formally named MSC Cruises’ largest ship MSC Fantasia.
Italian racing driver Jarno Trulli will also open a Formula One simulator on board the vessel.
The 3,959-passenger ship is taller than the Leaning Tower of Pisa and longer than the Eiffel Tower.
It will carry 1,325 crew and has 80 percent of its cabins with balconies or windows.
MSC Fantasia is the first in the Italian line’s fleet to feature an exclusive Yacht Club area with 99 upgraded suites and butler service.
