MSC Musica prepares for inaugural cruise
MSC Musica sets sail on her inaugural seven-night cruise on Saturday.
The cruises will run from July through to early November starting in Venice and calling into Bari, Katakolon, Izmir, Istanbul and Dubrovnik.
The ship will have 1300 cabins, of which 80% are external cabins, 809 with balconies, and 22, 000 square metres of public space.
Prices for the half term school break in October start from £1,140 per person for two adults. Two sharing children (aged 2-11) cruise for free but pay £235 per child for flights.
Prices include flights, transfers, all port and airport taxes, full board accommodation and all on board entertainment.
Peter Pate, managing director for MSC Cruises said: “The fleet is very modern with five new ships joining our classic three since 2003 and four more to come by 2009.
“We will have the most number of external cabins as well as those with a balcony.”
Sophia Loren will launch the ship on Thursday – the third MSC ship to be christened by the star.
