Mystic Cruises unveils new USA brand
Portugal-based expedition cruise line Mystic is looking to tap the US market in a big way.
It recently christened its first ship, the 200-passenger World Explorer, and plans to add five more vessels.
Four of these would sail for a new Mystic Cruises USA brand.
Alberto Aliberti has been named president of Mystic Cruises USA and will head up a US office in Florida.
The first ship destined for Mystic Cruises USA is called the World Navigator and will begin sailing in 2021.
Bookings for this ship will go live before the end of this year and destinations range from Antarctica to Europe and Iceland.
It will offer a value for money premium product, Aliberti says.
In addition to World Navigator, three additional, as yet unnamed ships will roll out for the US brand in 2022 and 2023.
