New boss for Island Cruises
Island Cruises has taken on Patrick Ryan from joint venture partner Royal Caribbean International as its new boss.
Mr Ryan is to become managing director of the single-ship line run in partnership with First Choice on January 1.
He moves from his current role as managing director of Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises in Europe.
Mr Ryan succeeds current Island Cruises boss Michael Bayley who is to become senior vice-president total guest satisfaction for Royal Caribbean.
The switch is part of a range of senior management changes at the Miami-based cruise company.
Island Cruises runs the vessel Island Escape in the Mediterranean in summer and Brazil in winter and has been operating for two years.
