Saturday, 13 Dec, 2007 0

Holiday Extras is rebranding the Q-Park airport car parks at UK airports as Airparks.

The change of name follows the recent acquisition of airport parking company BCP

However, the Q-Park car park at Heathrow will continue to be known as Q-Park Heathrow.

Airparks will manage 28,000 parking spaces at nine airports. Passengers will have the option of a Meet and Greet service at several former Q-Park sites, including Gatwick and Manchester.

Secured undercover parking is also offered at some of the rebranded Airparks, including Gatwick and Newcastle.

Operations director Paul Humphrey said: “Airparks has developed an outstanding reputation for the airport car parks it currently operates at Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Luton and East Midlands.”

Starting prices at the rebranded Airparks car parks start at: £4 a day at Gatwick, £4.40 a day at Manchester, £4.73 a day at Newcastle and £3 a day at Glasgow Prices at Heathrow start at £5.60 a day.
