New business travel event planned for October
The first event focused on the oil, gas and marine travel sector will take place in October.
The Oil, Gas & Marine Travel Forum 2011 will be held on October 19- 20 at the Thistle Altens Hotel in Aberdeen.
It is being organised by The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Europe, part of the Institute of Travel & Meetings.
GBTA Europe MD Paul Tilstone said: “Supporting this sector is exactly what GBTA Europe was formed to do.
“It’s quite clear there are buyers with a considerable market expenditure across this sector who will value a forum created especially for them.
"There is also a supplier network unique to this market which will value the buyer interaction in an independent environment.
"This is one of those interest groups where it’s not just the type of company they work in which is similar, they face every day issues together which are unique to their business types.”
Details of the full agenda and registration for the event will be available from June, but anyone interested in attending can reserve a priority place by emailing [email protected].
