New Gatwick to Riyadh flight to start
Flynas has announced direct flights from Riyadh to London from July 27.
The Saudi Arabian low cost carrier will operate twice weekly flights between the two cities.
It follows the launch of direct flights from Jeddah to Gatwick and Jeddah to Manchester, both of which began in April 2014.
Flynas hopes to capitalize on the high-traffic Eid holiday period over the launch week of operations for the new route to Gatwick.
Wael Al Sarhan, director of marketing and communications at flynas, said: "The non-stop flights will significantly add capacity during the peak Eid and summer holiday period.
"The flynas routes between London Gatwick and Manchester to Jeddah have worked very well since the April launch."
Starting in April 2014, flynas launched its Global Flight Routes Program which covers an international route network of non-stop flights from Saudi Arabia to destinations such as Paris, France; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Jakarta, Indonesia; Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, Pakistan; and Casablanca, Morocco.
