Voyages have appointed Tony Mayell as General Manager of Ayers Rock Resort. According to Voyages’ Chief Executive Officer Chris Tallent, the appointment will add tremendous depth and leadership to the strong operational and commercial team in place at the Resort.

“We are delighted that we have been able to attract somebody with Tony’s level of experience to head up this complex and critical asset within the Voyages portfolio,” Chris said.

“Tony has one of Australian tourism’s most respected pedigrees, having been an integral part of the AOT Group’s leadership team as Managing Director Online and Retail for the past 2 years, successfully leading the Northern Territory Tourist Commission (now Tourism NT) over 5 years as Managing Director and CEO, and a 2 year stint in London with the Australian Tourist Commission (now Tourism Australia) as General Manager Europe.”
