New MD starts at Peter Deilmann
Stuart Perl takes up his position as the new managing director of Peter Deilmann River & Ocean Cruises on Thursday.
He will report directly to Gisa and Hedda Deilmann, the managing owners of Peter Deilmann Reederei at their headquarters in Germany.
Perl joins Peter Deilmann Cruises from Cunard Line, where has been marketing director since 1998.
“2007 is an important year for river cruising in the UK and I am excited by the challenges of taking this company forward and working to significantly boost Peter Deilmann’s brand awareness and image in the UK,” he said.
”Cruising, and in particular river cruising, is in a period of rapid growth both globally and in the UK, and I am confident we have a strong team in place to ensure we reap the benefits of this momentum.”
