New online recruitment firm to tap talent outside travel
Gail Kenny Executive Search has launched an offshoot to recruit technology talent from outside the travel industry.
Puregenie.com has been created as a new brand dedicated to professionals looking for opportunities in the online travel sector.
Clare White has joined from Octopus Travel and a dedicated online account manager to launch the new brand.
Sales and marketing director Ian Brooks said: “We believe that whilst there exists a good pool of online talent within travel, that it is insufficient to satisfy the demand, and travel companies are increasingly reluctant to allow good online management to leave.
“We therefore see the need to bring in online talent from outside of the travel industry.”
The types of roles the company will recruit for will include search engine marketing managers, search engine optimisation specialists, e-CRM managers, web analysts, online account managers, white label specialists, customer insight managers, all round e-commerce managers, project managers, programme managers, affiliate marketers and web masters.
Brooks added: “The Gail Kenny brand is not known outside of the travel sector, hence the decision to launch a new brand to market the job opportunities to candidates from outside travel as well as within.
“Although there are several job boards out there targeting this market generally, we are first to market with a web based, comprehensive agency fulfilment service, dedicated to online professionals looking for opportunities in the online travel market. This is our differentiator.”
