New resort Sandals Royal Curacao opens for bookings

Sandals Resorts International (SRI) has opened sales for its newest Sandals branded resort which is the company’s first venture into Curacao.

Sandals Royal Curacao will become the 16th resort in the brand portfolio.

Now open for bookings, it is offering a grand opening offer of 45% off bookings made by 2 November 2021.

Situated on 44 acres of land within the Santa Barbara private estate, Sandals Royal Curacao offers two new signature suite categories – the Awa Seaside Butler Bungalows and Kurason Island Poolside Butler Bungalows.

It is home to The Duchess, Sandals’ first-ever floating restaurant and bar, which is constructed from a 92-feet Dutch ship.

There are a total of nine on-site restaurants and the resort introduces the brand’s first ‘Dos Awa infinity pool.’

There are also three oceanfront wedding venues, and guests have access to the neighboring 18-hole Pete Dye championship golf course.

"We have invested an additional $72 million in enhancements and improvements to complete the ‘Sandalization’ process of this already stunning property," said SandaIs Resorts International’s Executive Chairman, Adam Stewart.

It is expected to open on 14 April 2022.
