New role for Peter Shanks

Peter Shanks has joined Imagine Cruising as development director, supporting managing director Robin Deller with the company’s growth.

He will focus on international expansion and media relations in the UK and South Africa for the operator which offers cruise and stay holidays.

Peter spent the last 12 years with Carnival UK, latterly as president and managing director of Cunard Line.

Before that he worked in travel retailing as managing director of distribution First Choice, managing director of Going Places and commercial director of Thomas Cook.

Peter Shanks said:  "Imagine Cruising is an exciting young business with a unique and successful business model. I am greatly looking forward to working with Robin and the team as we develop and grow the business further."

Imagine Cruising was founded by Robin Deller in early 2011.

Imagine works with leading cruise lines, airlines, hotels, luxury trains and ground handlers to create exclusive luxury holidays to worldwide destinations.
